Unlike a shared hosting account in which the data is backed up by the provider, when you employ a virtual or a dedicated hosting server you'll need to keep manual backups as this type of a service isn't included by default. As superior as a hosting server may be, there is always the possibility that something could go wrong. For instance, you may delete some content by mistake or a script-driven program could get corrupted after an update. In case you have a backup, you'll not have to be concerned about this kind of issues since the content could be easily restored. As it may not be really handy to do this constantly on your end, we offer an optional backup service for all of our hosting server packages and we will store a copy of your content on an independent hosting server to make certain that it is intact no matter what. With the upgrade, you'll be able to work on your web server without having to worry that you might lose any data due to any reason.
Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers
If you obtain one of our dedicated web hosting plans and you decide that you require a backup of your content, you'll be able to add this service with several mouse clicks and our system will start keeping copies every week right away. You can order the upgrade along with the web server or at some point after through your billing CP if you do not need backups from the very beginning. The service shall give you 50 gb of disk space on an individual machine and this content can be restored on our end. Even though we test the hardware and the software before we hand over any new dedicated server, you can never know if some update won't go wrong, so in the event you have valuable data on the web server, you will be better off with this upgrade. Backups are also available with the Managed Services upgrade, which incorporates a lot of other useful administration tasks we provide to our clients.
